Gary Smerdon is the CEO and founder of MEXT. Before MEXT, Gary served as CEO at TidalScale and held numerous leadership positions including at Fusion-io, LSI, and AMD. He is a recognized innovator having led key efforts around industry transitions in networking, storage, and computing.

David Reed is CTO and founder of MEXT. He has held many technical leadership roles, including Chief Scientist at TidalScale and Lotus, SVP at SAP, and Fellow at HP. He played a key role in the creation of the Internet.

Chief Scientist

Carl Waldspurger is MEXT's Chief Scientist. For over a decade, he was responsible for designing and implementing core resource management and virtualization technologies at VMware. He is an accomplished inventor with over 200 issued or pending patents.
